GEM is a safe online tool created to improve workflows and better prepare for disruptions. In order to maximize response times, it compiles information from several sources, including weather services and GIS mapping, and acts as a storehouse for crucial playbooks and contacts. A report-generation tool is also included to aid in cost recovery and regulatory compliance. It was first created with assistance from industry partners and the U.S. Department of Energy, and it has since matured into a cutting-edge disaster management tool.
Implementing grid hardening programs
